Description
Under the funding program Measures and Grants for Vocational Inclusion, companies in Upper Austria receive financial support for work assistance and job coaching. The goal is to enable psychosocially disadvantaged individuals, from school leaving until retirement, to secure permanent employment in the primary labor market. To this end, their reduced work capacity as well as mentoring activities are compensated through grants. Interested companies collectively integrate the target group into existing teams according to collective agreements, while trained mentors ensure individual support. The type of service is tailored to the respective needs and funding rates of the employees and covers both direct wage subsidies and expenses for supportive reference persons.
The funding provides a funding rate between 30% and 70% and covers both remuneration costs for employees with reduced capacity and mentoring activities. Eligible are companies that employ psychosocially disadvantaged individuals with reduced work capacity, whose employment was arranged through the sponsoring association Immanuel, and that comply with the requirements of the Upper Austrian Equal Opportunities Act. Employees must be EU citizens or persons legally residing in Austria, have their main residence in Upper Austria, and must not receive comparable benefits under other legal provisions. Applications can be submitted continuously to the responsible district administrative authority; the completed application, proof of disability according to § 2 Upper Austrian Equal Opportunities Act, and the placement confirmation by the sponsoring association Immanuel are required.
