Description

The Mentor Scholarship of the Bad Homburg Castle Concerts Foundation supports highly gifted young instrumentalists aged 16 to 20 nationwide, as well as outstanding ensembles. As an ongoing award program, this scholarship is aimed at individuals who wish to intensively advance their artistic careers. The scholarship allows applications at any time and relies on close guidance from experienced mentors from the concert and cultural scene. The focus is on individual support to decisively pave the way from emerging talent to professional musician and to make them more visible in the long term.

The Mentor Scholarship covers a wide range of support areas: in addition to access to an exclusive network of concert organizers, agencies, artistic directors, and patrons, the program includes the organization of performance opportunities, professional public relations through artist photos and websites, as well as CD productions. Furthermore, further training is supported, for example within the framework of the Bad Homburg Masterclass for Chamber Music. The goal is to provide scholarship holders with intensive practical experience and to sustainably strengthen their artistic identity. Through this holistic support, young musicians and ensembles receive optimal conditions to establish themselves artistically and shape their careers.
