Description
The mentoring program of the Stiftung Dialogstark! gGmbH promotes dialogue skills, resilience, and mental health among young people aged approximately 14 to 25 across Germany and Austria. Through practical workshops, seminars, and moderated dialogue sessions, key competencies such as self-esteem, self-efficacy, and burnout prevention are strengthened. In individual tandems, experienced mentors—from all sectors of society, including business executives and committed private individuals—share their life experience and accompany the mentee group on an equal footing. The combination of theoretical impulses and personal guidance creates a preventive approach that enables participants to recognize their own potential and act independently in various areas of life.
Participation in the program is free of charge and possible at any time; applications can be submitted continuously. Eligible for funding are young people residing in Germany or Austria who show an interest in personal development and dialogue culture. Engagement is assessed in the form of a motivation letter as well as the willingness to actively participate in workshops and tandem sessions. Application documents required include a standardized application form and a brief motivation letter. The program thus offers a low-threshold opportunity to expand professional and social skills, to independently tackle challenges, and to benefit in the long term from a network of mentors, coaches, and like-minded peers.
