Description
The funding program "Non-investive social measures for the implementation of family-relieving services (FED)" of the Free State of Thuringia supports non-profit associations and interest groups in establishing low-threshold care services for people with disabilities and their relatives. Within the framework of a grant, both material and personnel expenses are subsidized to provide socio-pedagogical services tailored to needs. Eligible are primarily providers recognized by the Thuringian Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family who aim to ensure sustainable relief for families. Applications must be submitted by October 31 of each year for the following year.
The funding objective is to secure up to 15 hours of monthly care (max. 180 hours annually) per family. Up to 60% of personnel costs for a maximum of two full-time qualified professionals (E-9) can be covered, accompanied by a flat-rate subsidy of material expenses up to €5,000 per service. A prerequisite for funding is a provider’s own contribution of at least 10%, the employment of qualified staff, and covering the determined individual need. The completed application form and the annex ANBest-P must be attached for the application. The program is aimed at all non-profit organizations in Thuringia that offer professional family-relieving services in the fields of health, social affairs, and work & social affairs, thereby sustainably improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and their relatives.
