Description
OekoBusiness Vienna is the environmental service package of the City of Vienna aimed at promoting sustainable business management in Viennese companies and start-ups. This program supports businesses through a direct subsidy for external consulting costs and enables professional guidance from a quality-assured pool of consultants. The objectives are to reduce emissions, decrease resource consumption, and achieve long-term minimization of operating costs. Funded services include a comprehensive analysis of existing processes, legal assurance, and concrete recommendations for implementing environmentally and climate-friendly measures.
Eligible to participate are all companies and start-ups with a business location in Vienna that engage approved consultants from the OekoBusiness Vienna pool. Only external consulting costs are eligible for funding, while ancillary costs such as travel time, expenses, tax or legal advice, and pure implementation services are excluded. To apply, the membership number of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, information on company location, industry, turnover, and number of employees, as well as the signature of the management, are required. Applications can be submitted continuously since 01.01.2014 until the available funding volume is exhausted. This offering not only strengthens competitiveness but also improves cooperation between administration and business – a significant contribution to enhancing environmental and climate protection in Vienna’s economic landscape.
