Description

This funding program is aimed at non-profit organizations and public institutions in Upper Austria that operate special education after-school groups for children and adolescents with disabilities. It supports the absolutely necessary personnel expenses and provides a 100% subsidy to cover the determined personnel costs minus own revenues. The funds are continuously available, and applications can be submitted at any time until revoked. The funding areas include social affairs, children and youth, as well as education and training within the framework of the Upper Austrian Child Education and Care Act (§ 33 OÖ KBBG).

The funding objective is to ensure qualified and needs-based care. Eligible applicants are legal entities of relevant organizations in disability assistance based in Upper Austria that operate special education after-school groups according to § 33 OÖ KBBG. A prerequisite for receiving the grant is proof of the number and care scope of the children, detailed information on personnel expenses, as well as medical and professional-pedagogical assessments. The processing is carried out through monthly cost controls, advance payments, and settlements based on actual services rendered. Since the start of the application period in November 2013, permanent funding opportunities have existed to ensure sustainably high-quality care in special education after-school groups.
