Bonus for Long-Term Service for Agricultural and Forestry Employees

The long-service award honors loyal employees in agriculture and forestry in the federal state of Salzburg. Chamber members can receive a framed certificate of honor and a commemorative gift based on state funding after just 10 years of service. From 25 years of service, financial loyalty bonuses of €115.00 are paid out; for 35 years of service, the subsidy increases to €185.00; and for more than 45 years of service, it rises to €255.00. Additionally, the Salzburg Chamber of Agricultural Workers recognizes each milestone with a certificate of honor. Payments are made during planned award ceremonies; applications can be submitted at any time without a deadline and are processed on an ongoing basis.

Requirements for a successful application include active membership in the Salzburg Chamber of Agricultural Workers, proof of the corresponding service time in agriculture and forestry, and compliance with the chamber’s funding guidelines. The funding aims to acknowledge the long-standing commitment of employees to agriculture and to strengthen the profession through material and symbolic recognition.
