Description

Within the framework of the EU project CYberSynchrony, three coordinated Open Calls are announced, specifically targeting SMEs, start-ups, research institutions, non-profit organizations, public administrations, and qualified individuals. With a total funding volume of €3.55 million and a maximum grant of up to €200,000 per project, innovative approaches to strengthening cyber resilience in critical NIS2 sectors are to be supported. The funding aims to enhance infrastructure resilience and operational readiness, advance regulatory compliance, promote cross-sector innovation, as well as intensify cross-border exchange and mutual support among EU Member States. Projects with a duration of eight months will be funded at a rate of 30%. Registration on the CYberSynchrony platform, including PIC, and a location in a Digital Europe Programme (DEP) country are prerequisites. Eligible costs include project personnel, material resources, as well as travel and event expenses.

The submission period starts on 01/01/2026 and ends on 03/01/2026 at 17:00 CET. All applications will be accepted exclusively online via the CYberSynchrony platform. Required application documents are the Open Call Guidelines, the Proposal Technical Template, and the legal documentation. After the deadline, a formal check will be conducted first, followed by an evaluation of the proposals by independent experts based on four criteria (up to 5 points each, minimum threshold: 3 points per criterion). The selected projects will start from 06/01/2026 and will make a decisive contribution to increasing security and cooperation in the European cyberspace through their practice-oriented solutions.
