Description

The Children of the World Foundation supports non-profit associations, interest groups, and public institutions throughout Germany with grants for projects that correspond to the foundation’s purpose in the areas of child and youth welfare as well as labor & social affairs. Applications can be submitted at any time and are reviewed year-round. A prerequisite for approval is that the planned project focus clearly aligns with the foundation’s objectives and that the financial need is presented in a comprehensible manner. The funding amount varies depending on the availability of funds, the number of supported measures, and the individual funding requirement. The decision criteria primarily include the alignment with the foundation’s purpose, the economic need, and the fundamental eligibility for funding.

The foundation’s commitment aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of children and young people and to open up new perspectives for them. Previously supported initiatives range from intercultural exchange projects to educational and care services, as well as measures for disadvantaged target groups, such as former child soldiers or children with disabilities. Interested associations and organizations should submit a meaningful concept, a detailed cost plan, and proof of non-profit status. Further contact with the foundation’s administration or board is not required after submitting the application, as the entire funding process is conducted transparently and continuously.
