Project Proposal (Pathfinding Foundation)

The Pfadfinden Foundation supports nationwide non-profit projects in the context of scouting, which are situated in the areas of children and youth, social cohesion, democracy, as well as labor and social affairs. Eligible for funding are scout groups, regional associations, and the national organization of the Federation of Scouts in Germany, who plan independent, forward-looking, and particularly innovative initiatives. Funding is provided as a grant and is exclusively aimed at associations or interest groups with non-profit status. The goal is to introduce new impulses in scouting activities and to effectively realize exceptional project ideas.

Applications can be submitted at any time via the Foundation’s online application portal, but must be received at least four weeks before the project start date. In addition to timely submission, compliance with the published funding guidelines and the use of the portal for application and reporting are mandatory. After submission, applicants receive a confirmation email with a link to check the status at any time. Upon approval of the funding, access to the reporting tool is also granted, which must be uploaded within four weeks after the project’s completion. Through this clear and continuously open funding structure, the Pfadfinden Foundation offers committed groups an uncomplicated way to bring their ideas to life.
