Description
The project funding of the Alison and Peter Klein Foundation supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, and associations in the municipality of Eberdingen as well as in the surrounding Baden-Württemberg region across diverse social sectors. Particular emphasis is placed on measures in youth, disability, and elderly care, cultural initiatives and events, educational and scientific projects including scholarship awards, environmental and nature conservation activities, intercultural dialogue between Europe and the USA, interreligious exchange, as well as sports projects. The foundation places special focus on the regional anchoring and social relevance of the initiatives. Quarterly, the foundation’s experts make decisions regarding grants to enable flexible and timely support for non-profit projects. The continuous awarding of grants provides planning security and strengthens the sustainable implementation of innovative initiatives in education, research, and social cohesion.
Eligible to apply are non-profit and public institutions, associations, and educational establishments within the municipality of Eberdingen and its regional surroundings, whose projects align with at least one of the funding priorities. A completed funding application is required for submission; a detailed project description may optionally be attached as an annex. The funding prerequisites include the regional location of the institution as well as adherence to the funding guidelines’ purpose. Evaluation is based on the purpose alignment, regional relevance, and conformity with the funding guidelines.
