Description
The project funding of the BeNe Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, educational institutions, as well as public institutions in the Groß-Gerau district that wish to implement projects in the areas of art & culture, youth & sports, traditional customs, religion, nature conservation, landscape management, or animal protection. Funding of up to €1,000 is continuously available and is granted in the form of a subsidy. The commitment aims to strengthen local initiatives, events, and institutions as well as to sustainably enrich the cultural and social life in the Gerauer Land. The selection criteria are based on alignment with the foundation’s purposes, the regional significance of the project, and an existing institutional basis or clear organizational structure.
Eligible to participate are tax-privileged corporations or projects with a defined organizational form and headquarters in the funding area or proven strong regional relevance. For the application, a completed funding application in PDF format, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and proof of non-profit status are required. Submissions can be made at any time and will be considered in the next selection round; decisions are made twice a year. After positive review and grant approval, payment is usually made upon completion of the project. Funded institutions commit to appropriately acknowledging the foundation in all project documents and public relations as well as submitting a brief final report with results and images. These measures ensure transparency and promote knowledge transfer within the region.
