Project Funding by the Citizens' Foundation Gronau

The project funding of the Bürgerstiftung Gronau is aimed at non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, public institutions, and companies with a local connection to Gronau/Epe. The goal is to strengthen civic engagement and promote social cohesion, democracy, work & social affairs, as well as agriculture and rural development in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a continuously available funding instrument, the foundation offers financial grants for projects that serve the common good and benefit a group or the general public. Individuals are excluded from receiving funding.

The following requirements are decisive for an application: the project must have a clear connection to Gronau/Epe, the planned measures must be publicly accessible and ensure benefits for multiple persons or a community. The submission must include a concise project description, a presentation of the project objectives, proof of already secured sponsors, information about the target group as well as the project management and team. Furthermore, a brief description of the thematic focus and a financing plan with total costs and the requested funding amount must be provided. Applications can be submitted at any time via email, enabling short decision-making processes.
