Project Funding of the Windhagen Community Foundation

The project funding of the Bürgerstiftung Windhagen is aimed at non-profit organizations, private individuals, and public institutions based in the local municipality of Windhagen in Rhineland-Palatinate. In the form of an open-ended grant, acquisitions and projects are supported in the funding areas of social cohesion & democracy, child and youth promotion, health, disaster protection, counseling, work & social affairs, as well as business financing. Eligible are both material acquisitions and project-related expenses, such as defibrillators for public spaces, equipment for the volunteer fire department, or activities of youth and volunteer groups. A prerequisite for funding is a completed and signed PDF funding application and, if applicable, proof of non-profit status (e.g., exemption notice).

Applications can be submitted throughout the year without a fixed deadline. Interested project sponsors download the funding application form, complete it in full, and submit it by mail to the Bürgerstiftung Windhagen. With the funding goal of revitalizing the community by strengthening voluntary, youth, and rescue-oriented offerings, this initiative provides uncomplicated support for local projects. The decision-making process by the foundation board takes place promptly after receipt of all documents, ensuring rapid implementation of non-profit projects.
