Project Funding of the Christian Media Foundation

The project funding of the Christian Media Foundation offers non-profit organizations, public institutions, and foundations throughout Germany a continuously open source of financing for the realization of innovative initiatives in the field of Christian media work. With a focus on disseminating the Christian message through various channels such as TV, online formats, and print media, the foundation supports initiatives aimed at broad engagement for social cohesion, democracy, social affairs, and culture. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing project sponsors oriented towards planning and implementation to respond flexibly to current circumstances. As a grant provider, only non-profit projects are supported that achieve sustainable impact in the areas of labor & social affairs, culture & media, as well as charitable assistance.

The funding objective is to accompany and strengthen civil society actors, church and religious institutions, as well as other non-profit initiatives that reach new target groups with media-based formats and thereby sustainably anchor Christian value orientation in the public sphere. The Christian Media Foundation places special emphasis on transparency and accompanying consultation, so that applicants benefit from expert guidance. The broad thematic openness also enables projects in the areas of integration, democracy promotion, and social participation. Interested institutions can outline their project ideas in a written application and, after review by the foundation, quickly begin implementation to jointly strengthen the diversity of Christian-influenced media work in Germany.
