Eligible for funding are recognized non-profit organizations from Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Schleswig-Holstein. The focus is on child and youth work, senior assistance, sports, as well as arts and culture. With a one-time grant, the foundation aims to strengthen social cohesion and create sustainable impulses locally. Applications can be submitted via an online form or alternatively informally by email. Essential requirements are non-profit status, the project location in Northern Germany, and timely receipt by May 1st of the current year.

The following documents must be attached for the application: a brief project description, a precise breakdown of the required funding, and – if available – a current tax exemption certificate. Additional visual material may be optionally submitted to support the foundation’s public relations work. After review by the board, applicants will receive a written decision.
