Description
The project funding of the Deutsche Bank Foundation supports domestic non-profit organizations, foundations, educational institutions, and public entities in implementing sustainable initiatives in the areas of culture, education, social affairs, migration, social cohesion/democracy, vocational training, and disaster protection. Grant applications can be submitted continuously via an online form. The focus is on projects that particularly empower young people, open cultural experiential spaces, promote integration, and create equal opportunities. Furthermore, international measures for disaster prevention with a view to long-term effectiveness are supported. Sports projects, individual case assistance or scholarships, publications, construction measures, and events are excluded in order to allocate funds purposefully and emphasize the interfaces between social, cultural, and educational activities.
Eligible for funding are exclusively domestic tax-privileged corporations as well as public law entities, including associations, non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), foundations, and universities. The application must include a meaningful project description, a detailed budget plan, and a communication concept that governs the public presentation and visibility of the funding. The documentation is supplemented by the current tax exemption notice and the legal statutes of the institution. There is no legal entitlement to funding; selection is based on compliance with the funding guidelines and the exploitation of potentials for community and cohesion. All applications are reviewed promptly; decision-makers focus on the soundness, innovativeness, and sustainable prospects of the submitted projects.
