Description

The project funding of the Karl and Hilde Holzschuh Foundation is aimed at civic volunteers in Karlsbad (Baden-Württemberg) and supports community-oriented initiatives in the areas of education, youth and elderly care, environmental and nature conservation, culture, sports, social affairs, as well as charitable and church-related purposes. Eligible to apply are volunteers, private individuals, non-profit organizations, associations, public institutions, interest groups, and companies based or active in Karlsbad. The foundation provides grants between €3,000 and €3,500 for outstanding individual projects and initiatives to promote local structures, recognize exemplary efforts, and ensure the long-term benefits and sustainability of the measures. Submissions for the funding year 2026 are possible until October 11, 2026.

Projects supported must have a clear local anchoring, achieve sustainable effects, and create lasting added value for the community. The application must include a fully completed application form, a detailed description of the volunteer activity, and references or CVs of the responsible initiators. Selection is based on the criteria of exemplary function, sustainability, local relevance, as well as the duration and benefit of the project. Through this financial support, the foundation aims to strengthen voluntary engagement locally and provide impetus for continued vibrant, solidarity-based structures in the community of Karlsbad.
