Description
The Qualifizierungs.IMPULS program of the Carinthian Economic Development Fund supports advanced and continuing education measures for entrepreneurs as well as managing partners in micro and small enterprises based in Carinthia. Funded are certified courses and seminars that directly contribute to the existing entrepreneurial activity or a planned reorientation. The gross project costs range between €1,000 and €16,000 (net), with a non-repayable grant of up to 50% being awarded. The goal is the sustainable consolidation of the companies' growth potential and the strengthening of their competitiveness. Prerequisites for funding include, among others, gross sales or operating income exceeding €35,000 (exceptions apply for startups up to three years), membership in the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce or the Chamber of Architects and Consulting Engineers Styria/Carinthia, as well as a stable economic situation.
The project duration can be one or two years, with funding limits of a maximum of €8,000 or €16,000 net per year. Registrations for courses, issuance of invoices, or down payments are possible up to six months before the application submission. The submission period runs from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026. The funding application is submitted online via the KWF portal and is considered the project start date. After positive evaluation, the contract is issued; measures may only be implemented after its signing. The final accounting must be completed within the contractually agreed deadline. For the application, a project description, CVs, proof of certification of the education provider, and chamber membership are required. Ultimately, the program supports increasing entrepreneurial qualification and thus securing jobs and the economic location of Carinthia in the long term.
