Roland R. Wauer Award of the German Foundation for Sick Newborns

The Roland R. Wauer Award of the German Foundation for Sick Newborns honors the commitment of students in human medicine and annually supports two of them with a one-month clinical stay at a neonatology facility in Europe. With a financial grant of €1,500 for travel and accommodation expenses, the award promotes professional exchange and practice-oriented further education in the field of neonatology. The call for applications is aimed at enrolled human medicine students at European universities who are interested in an internship at a neonatology clinic. Applications must include: a one-page letter of motivation, a brief outline of the planned dissemination of the acquired experience, a letter of recommendation from teaching staff (if available), and a curriculum vitae.
