Funding objective
The purpose of the renovation initiative is to promote thermal building renovations aimed at reducing energy consumption for heating (and also air conditioning) and, as a consequence, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Funding is granted for buildings used commercially and privately, including multi-story residential buildings. The use of the building is not decisive for the renovation initiative. Eligible measures for funding include those necessary to reduce heating energy demand, such as: insulation of exterior walls, insulation of the upper floor ceiling or roof, insulation of the lower floor ceiling or a ground-level floor. The renovation or replacement of windows and exterior doors can also be funded.
