Description
The statewide funding initiative supports non-profit organizations, associations, and parishes in Upper Austria in the construction, renovation, and expansion of youth rooms, youth centers, and youth meeting places. Since 05.11.2013, grants have been continuously provided to realize infrastructure projects in the areas of children and youth, labor & social affairs, as well as urban development. Applications must be submitted online at least two months before the start of construction using the form KGD-Geft-LJR/E-16 and supplemented by a cost breakdown, a usage concept, and a detailed financing plan. Funding is provided for construction and planning costs as well as personnel and material expenses, whereby compliance with the general funding guidelines of the State of Upper Austria and the funding principles of the Youth Department is a prerequisite. This funding thus offers a solid foundation to sustainably establish or further develop youth-relevant meeting and educational spaces.
This grant program is aimed at all sponsors committed to the quality of life and participation of young people. In addition to construction measures, innovative usage concepts are supported that create open spaces for culture, creativity, and social activities. The continuous funding model enables flexible planning and contributes in the long term to strengthening youth work in municipalities and cities. Interested project managers can find all relevant information and forms on the websites of the State of Upper Austria and the Youth Service – an investment in the future of young people and vibrant communities.
