Description
With a focus on innovative start-ups and business successions, a regional funding program strengthens the founding dynamics in Styria. The initiative targets micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises with a maximum of five years since establishment or business takeover, whose business models clearly differentiate themselves from the industry average. All founders must hold at least 25% of the capital shares and be operationally managing. The support includes a grant rate of 25% to 50% for external consulting services as well as investments in machinery and equipment, office and business furnishings, digital measures, or internal personnel costs. The planned project volume must be at least 5,000 euros, with a maximum of up to 37,500 euros available per application.
The expert evaluation is based on the level of innovation, sustainability, and viability of the business model, the regional location advantage in Styria, as well as the experience and economic performance of the founders. For application submission, a business plan, a detailed project description, a financing plan, CVs of all founding members, and a current insurance data extract are required. Seed funding within this initiative provides sustainable impulses for long-term and regional development. Applications can be submitted continuously until 30.06.2027.
