Description
Start!Klar is a funding initiative by the Styrian Business Promotion Agency for young, innovative companies in Styria. The target group consists of founders and SMEs established within the last five years, where the founders hold at least 25% of the shares with an operational management role. In the first five years of the business lifecycle, consulting services are subsidized with a 50% cost grant up to €5,000, as well as investments in machinery, equipment, operational and business furnishings, and digital measures with a 20% base funding plus a 5% regional bonus up to €37,500. The project duration is 12 months, and the application deadline is June 30, 2027.
Eligible for funding are innovative micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises located in Styria. Key criteria include innovation and growth potential, the implementation capability of the founding team, and regional added value. Exclusions include, among others, used goods, real estate, vehicles, and ongoing operating costs. Applications are submitted via the SFG electronic funding portal using ID Austria. Required documents for the application include a business plan, CVs of all founders, and a current insurance data extract. Start!Klar thus supports the dynamic development of Styrian start-ups and specifically promotes digital communication and sustainable growth strategies in the region.
