Scholarships of the RWLE Möller Foundation

The RWLE Möller Foundation supports freelance artists, cultural workers, and scholars in Lower Saxony with irregularly awarded work scholarships. Projects and research in the fields of visual arts, literature, film, theater, as well as art and urban history are funded. Through financial support for work stays lasting from one to six months, the foundation aims to enable the creation of innovative cultural and scientific initiatives. Proposals for new projects can be submitted to the board at any time, as there are no fixed application deadlines.

Decisive for the award are the artistic or scientific quality and relevance of a project, its connection to cultural and scientific heritage, and its feasibility within the scholarship period. Funding is provided in the form of a prize/award, with the extent of financial support determined according to project needs. Due to the open application process, the program is aimed at all those who temporarily require additional resources for creative or research activities and wish to engage with regionally or culturally historically relevant issues. The RWLE Möller Foundation thus makes an important contribution to strengthening cultural life in Lower Saxony and offers experts the opportunity to set new impulses in concentrated periods of time.
