Study Support from the Kalyandjian-Conradt Foundation (STEM)

The Kalyandjian-Conradt Foundation’s study grant is aimed at students with primary residence in the Rhineland-Palatinate regions of Birkenfeld, Idar-Oberstein, Morbach, Kirn, Bad Sobernheim, or Lauterecken. The grant supports studies in mathematical-scientific and technical (STEM) subjects up to the qualified degree, providing a monthly scholarship payment corresponding to actual living expenses. The funding is granted as a non-repayable subsidy with a funding rate of 100% and generally covers the standard period of study, provided continuous performance documentation is submitted. Thus, the foundation supports promising young talents in focusing entirely on teaching and research content and preparing early for their professional career entry.

Applications are accepted continuously and require at least good academic performance, residence in the supported region, and admission to a STEM degree program. A personal interview with the foundation’s board, alongside school grades, motivation, and qualifications, constitutes the final step in the selection process. Required documents include an informal application letter, a tabular CV with a current passport photo, a copy of the high school diploma or university entrance qualification certificate, and bank account details.
