#Tyrolean Young Researchers Funding

The Tyrolean Early Career Researcher Funding supports qualified early career researchers at Tyrolean Universities of Applied Sciences with a 100% grant to sustainably enhance the research quality and performance of the institutions. The program targets privately eligible early career researchers who already possess an initial scientific qualification and wish to further develop their project competencies. Through this funding, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer is strengthened and the innovation capacity of the Tyrolean research landscape is expanded. Applications can be submitted from March 1, 2024, until December 31, 2027.

A prerequisite for funding is an existing employment or affiliation with a Tyrolean University of Applied Sciences as well as proof of scientific qualification. Submissions must be made within the deadline to ensure a complete review. The program is implemented by the State of Tyrol as part of its science promotion strategy and forms part of the comprehensive commitment of the regional administration to initiate and sustainably support excellent research projects. Through targeted support, aspiring researchers are optimally enabled to realize their own projects and contribute to scientific excellence in Tyrol.
