#Tyrolean Science Promotion

The Tyrolean Science Promotion supports scientific projects and events in the state of Tyrol with a grant covering up to 100% of eligible costs. The aim of the initiative is to sustainably strengthen Tyrol as a research location and to address forward-looking questions in the European and global context. Both innovative research approaches at educational and research institutions as well as interdisciplinary conferences, symposia, or workshops that promote scientific exchange are funded. Applications can be submitted from March 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027, with continuous submission possible throughout this period.

Eligible for funding are both educational institutions and private individuals, provided that their headquarters or activities are located in Tyrol and a clearly defined scientific project or event is planned. Applicants benefit from a straightforward application process and transparent allocation by the state of Tyrol. The state administration provides all relevant information on funding guidelines, deadlines, and requirements through the digital citizen service. The Tyrolean Science Promotion thus makes a valuable contribution to strengthening the regional research landscape and initiates impulses for addressing societal and technological challenges in the coming decades.
