Description
Promoting Trend Sports Facilities in Burgenland
The program supports the construction, expansion, and comprehensive renovation of contemporary sports infrastructures for recognized trend sports. Funding is provided to Burgenland sports clubs, umbrella organizations, municipalities, as well as non-profit organizations, companies, and private individuals based in Burgenland. With a duration of up to 24 months, the non-repayable grant (funding rate 20%) aims to create modern, safe facilities that reflect current trends and are exclusively reserved for organized sports. Up to €9,000 per project is available to realize, for example, pump tracks, skate parks, or climbing facilities tailored to demand.
Application and Eligible Expenses
Applications can be submitted at any time before construction begins or no later than three months after the first project-related invoice. All eligible construction, expansion, and renovation costs are funded; excluded are canteens, catering facilities, tourist-used facilities, and land purchases. Requirements include, among others, a secured financing plan, ownership or usage rights to the property, and exclusive use for organized club sports. Required documents include, among others, the fully completed application form, planning documents, cost estimates, building permit, bank details, an extract from the club register, and the completion certificate. The program creates optimal conditions for innovative trend sports projects – a strong impetus for sports enthusiasts and municipalities in Burgenland.
