Description
The sponsorship project "Companies Bring School to Life" by the Ralf Rangnick Foundation offers primary schools nationwide as well as in the Free State of Saxony the opportunity to implement educational programs individually in the fields of physical activity, nutrition, STEM, and music & creativity. Companies and private individuals act as sponsors by providing financial support of up to €10,000 per school. Partner schools select proven formats from a rich catalog of offerings—such as the Vegetable Academy, tablet tours, or musical workshops—or independently develop project ideas to provide hands-on learning experiences. The focus is on promoting sustainable, extracurricular learning environments: children receive impulses for healthy nutrition, joy of movement, scientific curiosity, and creative forms of expression. Sponsors also benefit from public relations support that highlights their commitment within the region.
Primary schools (state-run or privately operated) interested in a sponsorship can submit a completed profile form at any time. A prerequisite is the interest of a private individual or company in a long-term school-sponsor partnership. Only project expenses for educational measures are eligible; the quality of the project idea, its suitability for the target group, and the aspect of sustainability are evaluated. Applications can be submitted flexibly as long as funding is available. After review, the foundation facilitates a partnership-based placement and quality assurance. The profile form is available as a PDF and must be fully completed and sent to the foundation. In this way, "Companies Bring School to Life" provides children with sustainable and impactful learning experiences that go beyond regular classroom instruction.
