Description

The J. Wilh. Tenten Foundation primarily supports non-profit and public institutions as well as educational establishments located or with project sites in Bonn within the North Rhine-Westphalia region. The focus is on initiatives that directly benefit needy citizens of Bonn – especially children, adolescents, seniors, and people with disabilities. Often, the support serves as one-time seed funding for the realization of innovative ideas and projects without incurring long-term commitments. The funding areas range from social measures and educational offerings to vocational training and further education measures, as well as barrier-free construction work or consulting costs.

Eligible applicants are associations, public sponsors, and non-profit institutions in Bonn wishing to implement their project costs, material equipment, or specific construction measures – for example, the barrier-free expansion of outdoor areas. Applications can be submitted at any time, as there are no exclusion deadlines. Evaluation criteria include the concrete benefit for needy citizens of Bonn, the originality of the project, and a convincing support concept for sustainable implementation. Explicitly funded are seed financings without ongoing operating costs or retroactive payments. This grant opportunity opens new possibilities for creative aid projects and creates impulses in the fields of social affairs, child and youth work, inclusion, and education.
