Support Grants for Needy Individuals (Dr. Esther Schloßberg Foundation)

The Dr. Esther Schloßberg Foundation supports people in Bavaria who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own by providing one-time or temporary grants. Private individuals, non-profit organizations, and public institutions can equally apply for financial assistance, provided that neither state agencies nor other institutions offer sufficient support. The aim is to cover essential needs and ensure immediate relief in acute emergencies. Funding areas particularly include social individual case assistance as well as measures to bridge financial shortfalls that are unrelated to any personal misconduct.

Applications can be submitted informally at any time – there is no fixed deadline. An informal application is sufficient to present the individual need and to verify the eligibility criteria: hardship occurring through no fault of the applicant and the absence of adequate support from the state or other bodies. The administration and review of funds is the responsibility of the office of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation Munich, under whose sponsorship the foundation is organizationally integrated. Through its straightforward process and needs-oriented approach, the foundation makes a valuable contribution to securing livelihoods in acute crisis situations and enables affected individuals to receive rapid financial relief.
