Description

BVBO 4you offers free, modular career orientation programs to students from grade 7 up to upper secondary level at integrated secondary schools, community schools, grammar schools, and special schools in Berlin. In four consecutive modules – competency assessment, career field exploration, advanced practical experience, and transition into professional practice – participants gain in-depth insights into job-relevant skills and experience real working life. Each unit comprises at least ten hours per student and can be flexibly linked with school activities. BVBO 4you thus systematically complements existing school-based career and study orientation offerings and is continuously available.

Eligible for funding are educational institutions with measure provider approval according to §§ 176 ff. SGB III, which comply with the quality criteria of the Federal Employment Agency and the requirements of § 48 SGB III. The funding, provided as a grant, covers 100% of the necessary personnel costs, material costs, and travel expenses, while catering, student transportation, and investment costs are excluded. For the application, a needs assessment, module descriptions, a cooperation agreement, and a school certificate must be submitted. The selection focuses on the qualification profile of the implementing experts and the alignment with the school’s career orientation concept. Ongoing application opportunities enable schools to offer their students effective preparation for a successful transition into vocational training or higher education.
