Description
The funding initiative Growth!Step of the Styrian Business Promotion Agency (SFG) supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Styria with productive investments during growth phases. Eligible for funding are construction measures, machinery and equipment, operational and business equipment, as well as intangible investments (such as patents). A project volume of at least 300,000 euros is required; replacement investments, parking spaces, and passenger car acquisitions are not eligible for funding. The maximum funding rate is 30% of the eligible costs. Key criteria for project evaluation include innovation, growth, digitalization, circular economy, regional significance, and potential job creation.
Applications can be submitted online via the SFG portal until June 30, 2027. Detailed information on the required documents and further procedures is available on the SFG website for the application process. Co-financing is provided depending on the project through state funds, federal funds (e.g., AWS or ERP fund), and, if applicable, EU co-financing (ERDF). With this initiative, the SFG aims to sustainably strengthen the competitiveness and innovative capacity of Styrian SMEs and thereby contribute to the further development of Styria as a production location.
