WEST MUSIC FOUNDATION

The WEST MUSIC FOUNDATION of the CHRISTOPH SONNTAG FOUNDATION GmbH provides disadvantaged children and young people nationwide with free access to the world of music. Inspired by the bassist "WEST" (Peter Haag) and within the framework of the project Music.Makes.People, the Foundation aims to promote musical education regardless of financial or social barriers. Through a 100% funded program, curiosity and passion for music are awakened, and talents are supported sustainably. The initiative targets young people from socially or economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have a motivated attitude towards learning an instrument.

Participants benefit from qualified instrumental lessons with experienced teachers as well as the provision of loan instruments for an easy entry into the world of music. Thanks to an ongoing call for applications, applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring flexible planning and quick funding approvals. The free support covers all lessons and instrument costs, so no financial contribution is required. Interested children and young people can apply for the program at any time and thus take the first step towards a rewarding musical education. With the WEST MUSIC FOUNDATION, a platform is created that strengthens social participation, deepens cultural education, and sustainably enriches the personal development of young people.
