Grant Funding by the Höxter Citizens' Foundation

The grant funding of the Höxter Citizens' Foundation is aimed at private individuals, non-profit organizations, foundations, companies, public institutions, interest groups, as well as other associations wishing to implement projects in the city of Höxter and its twelve districts. The goal is to support initiatives in the key areas of education, culture, migration, children and youth, health, sports, social cohesion/democracy, vocational training & continuing education, culture & media, as well as work & social affairs. Through small and large grants, local social engagement is strengthened to sustainably promote community spirit. The Citizens' Foundation’s funding initiative operates continuously and flexibly, allowing funding applications to be submitted at any time via the official PDF form.

For a successful application, all projects must be realized in Höxter or its districts. Additionally, full disclosure of all third-party funding is required. Application documents must include a completed funding application, a detailed project description, and a binding financing plan. Interested initiatives and project sponsors summarize their projects, including planned total costs and own contributions, in a clear overview. The funding application must then be sent as a PDF to the office of the Höxter Citizens' Foundation. The transparent selection process is based on clearly defined criteria, with an expert jury reviewing the applications and deciding on the awards. In this way, forward-looking projects in Höxter receive reliable financial support and contribute to the vibrant development of the city community.
