It is the largest single shareholder of thyssenkrupp AG and promotes science, education, art and culture, sports, health, and regional development with the proceeds from its assets. Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to combine entrepreneurial action with social responsibility in the spirit of its founder and to promote the common good. Target groups
The funding programs of the Krupp Foundation are aimed at universities and scientific institutions as well as outstanding early-career researchers in the natural and engineering sciences (Alfried Krupp Award), students and postdocs participating in interdisciplinary exchange programs (scholarships, postdoc programs), organizers of cultural and educational projects as well as museums and art associations, sports and health initiatives in the regional context, and non-profit organizations, associations, and public institutions in the Ruhr area that implement innovative solutions for structural change (ImPulsRuhr).
