Mission & Vision

The HMWVL aims to secure Hesse as a strong and sustainable location for business and mobility. The goal is to promote innovations that combine climate and environmental protection with economic performance. Through targeted funding programs and close cooperation with research institutions, companies, municipalities, and civil society actors, a modern infrastructure is being created that enables the transition to low-emission transport systems and future-proof logistics chains.

Target groups

Innovation projects in the field of logistics and mobility are funded. Eligible to apply are public and state-recognized universities as well as non-university research institutions and their sponsors, non-profit organizations from logistics and mobility, and small and medium-sized enterprises based in Hesse. Membership in the House of Logistics and Mobility e. V. (HOLM) or cooperation with this network is generally a prerequisite. Furthermore, the program targets actors who aim to make significant contributions to digitalization, climate-friendliness, and efficiency in Hesse's transport and logistics systems.
