About the funder
The Finance Department (F1) within the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government is the central funding administration office of the federal state of Lower Austria. It is responsible for the preparation and management of the state budget as well as the design, announcement, administration, and monitoring of funding programs across various sectors. These include, among others, the special financial action for municipalities, funding for development cooperation and humanitarian aid abroad, subsidies for needy, disabled, or otherwise eligible individuals, as well as the allocation of foundation free places and various educational grants. The department ensures legally compliant processing of all funding procedures, safeguards data protection in accordance with the GDPR, and provides transparent information and advisory services for applicants.
