The Social Department is part of the Directorate for Social Affairs and Health within the Office of the Upper Austrian Provincial Government. Under the leadership of Hofrat Mag. Cornelia Altreiter-Windsteiger, it assumes professional responsibility for the implementation and coordination of social policy services at the state level. According to the organizational structure, its area of responsibility includes the fields of Social Affairs (So) and Social Welfare Agencies - State (SHL).
