Amt der Salzburger Landesregierung

The Amt der Salzburger Landesregierung is the central administrative authority of the state of Salzburg and is responsible for implementing state policy tasks in the energy sector. On the Energy Thematic Platform (https://www.salzburg.gv.at/themen/energie), it consolidates information on energy saving, energy consulting, energy performance certificates, energy efficiency, energy communities, energy initiatives, and renewable energies. The goal is to provide citizens, municipalities, and businesses with practical support services and funding information to promote sustainable energy supply and climate protection measures at the state level.

The Office of the Salzburg State Government in the Energy sector is committed to a climate-friendly and energy-efficient transition in the state of Salzburg. It promotes the responsible use of resources, supports municipal and private initiatives for the use of renewable energies, and provides advice on investments in energy efficiency. Through information services and funding overviews, it aims to reduce CO₂ emissions and strengthen regional value creation in the energy sector.

The target group of the funding and advisory services includes private individuals, housing developers, companies, municipalities, energy cooperatives, and other stakeholders in Salzburg who wish to save energy, invest in energy efficiency, or use renewable energies. In particular, the office is aimed at initiatives of energy communities, municipalities within the framework of the e5 municipal initiative, planners and developers in new construction and renovation projects, as well as energy consultants and public authorities implementing energy projects.
