Mission & Vision
The Department IVa – Social Affairs and Integration sees itself as a central interface and driving force for social cohesion in Vorarlberg. With its six specialized areas—Equal Opportunities and Disability, Income Security, Child and Youth Welfare, Coordination Office for Integration Matters, Seniors and Long-Term Care, as well as Social Psychiatry and Addiction—we are committed to shaping social participation and individual support in a needs-oriented and sustainable manner.
Target groups
The funding and support programs are aimed at all people living in Vorarlberg, particularly citizens, municipalities, social institutions, and organizations. Special focus is placed on people with disabilities, those affected by poverty, children and youth, immigrants, seniors, as well as individuals with psychosocial and addiction-related support needs.
