Office of the Vorarlberg State Government, Department of Society, Social Affairs and Integration (IVa) is a specialized department of the Vorarlberg state administration. The department supports citizens, municipalities, social institutions, and other organizations in social matters. Its core responsibilities include the allocation of funding in the social sector, the promotion of sustainable processes, and the professional support of social projects. The department is divided into six specialized areas: Equal Opportunities and Disability, Income Security, Child and Youth Welfare, Coordination Office for Integration Affairs, Seniors and Care Provision, as well as Social Psychiatry and Addiction. It sees itself as a central interface and driver for social participation and integration.

The department's services are aimed at all population groups in the state of Vorarlberg. This particularly includes people with disabilities, individuals in existential distress, children and adolescents, senior citizens, people with a migration background, as well as institutions and initiatives in the social and integration sectors.
