The Office of the Vorarlberg State Government, Department IIa – Early Childhood Education, School and Society, Early Childhood Education Division is responsible for the management, promotion, and further development of child education and care facilities in Vorarlberg. It provides information on funding programs, legal requirements, and quality standards, supports training and continuing education in the early childhood sector, and initiates projects such as the "Make Room!" campaign to ensure sufficient care places and high pedagogical quality.

We are committed to demand-oriented and high-quality early childhood education in Vorarlberg. Our goal is to provide all children with the best possible start in education and care by supporting institutions, shaping framework conditions, and training professionals. In doing so, we contribute to equal opportunities and family-friendly regional development.

Our funding programs are aimed at operators and sponsors of early childhood education and care facilities (toddler groups, kindergartens, after-school care), educators in early childhood education, as well as parents seeking childcare places. We also support individuals and institutions involved in training and further education in the field of early childhood education or wishing to provide information about it.
