Arne-Friedrich-Stiftung
About the funder
The Arne Friedrich Foundation was established in September 2015 by former German national football player Arne Friedrich as a trust foundation. It pursues charitable purposes and focuses primarily on promoting youth welfare, public health, education, sports, refugee integration, as well as tolerance and international understanding with an emphasis on children and young people. Nationwide, the foundation supports projects in the areas of "Education and Diversity," "Courage," and "Health." In close cooperation with educational institutions, community-oriented networks, and partners such as the Bürgerstiftung Berlin, it implements, among other initiatives, school club programs ("Wir-AGs"), the procurement of medical equipment for clinics, and integration initiatives.

Mission & Vision
The Arne-Friedrich Foundation is committed to taking social responsibility and sustainably improving the living conditions and future prospects of disadvantaged children and young people. It believes that every individual can realize their potential when their individual needs are taken into account and appropriate foundations are established. Through donations, partnerships, and volunteer engagement, the foundation invites everyone to jointly shape a more just and inclusive society.
Target groups
Primarily supported are sick children, refugee children, and disadvantaged children and adolescents nationwide. The offerings are directed both at schools and educational institutions that wish to implement "Wir-AGs" focused on education, diversity, and life skills, as well as at medical facilities, non-profit organizations, and projects aimed at inclusion, health promotion, and meaningful leisure activities. The foundation preferably collaborates with partners who implement high-quality and inclusive programs for young people on a long-term basis.
