AUDI Stiftung für Umwelt GmbH

Since its founding on December 1, 2009, by AUDI AG as a wholly owned subsidiary, the AUDI Foundation for the Environment GmbH has made an active contribution to environmental protection and the promotion of innovative environmental technologies. The foundation is financed through interest income from its capital stock and donations and is committed to long-term support of projects that harmonize nature, biodiversity, and a sustainable human-environment system. Through programs such as Home of Greenovation, scholarships for young researchers, and international cooperation projects, it supports scientific approaches and technological solutions for a more livable future.

The foundation aims to promote green innovations through its commitment, strengthen environmental education, and advance the protection of the natural foundations of life for humans, animals, and plants. Long-term impact and scientifically based approaches are at the core of all supported projects.

The programs of the AUDI Stiftung für Umwelt GmbH are aimed at scientists and research institutions working on environmental technology innovations; university members and students who dedicate their theses or projects to sustainability and resource conservation; entrepreneurs and initiatives in the creative economy sector creating social value through sustainable business models; young activists involved in national and international environmental and sustainability initiatives; as well as municipalities, NGOs, and other practitioners seeking to test and scale innovative environmental solutions in practice.
