The Kommende Foundation beneVolens is a non-profit youth foundation based in Dortmund. Founded in November 2009, it focuses its efforts on socially disadvantaged young people and offers them experiential educational programs to strengthen their personal development. Under the guiding principle "Supporting Youth. Shaping the Future.", beneVolens has been implementing projects such as the Social Seminar, entrepreneurship seminars, business ethics workshops, and prevention programs for over ten years. The foundation works closely with secondary, intermediate, comprehensive, and special schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods and cooperates with various regional and supra-regional partners.

"Youth support. Shaping the future." is the guiding principle of the beneVolens Foundation. Its goal is to strengthen young people, especially those from socially disadvantaged families, in their personality, to promote their self-esteem, and to open up life perspectives for them. Through experience-oriented seminars and practical projects, beneVolens imparts values, social skills, as well as basic economic and social knowledge, thereby contributing to social justice and the sustainable integration of youth.

The foundation's funding programs are aimed at pupils from socially disadvantaged families in Dortmund and the surrounding area. In particular, beneVolens cooperates with secondary modern, intermediate, secondary, and comprehensive schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods. The programs target young people affected by social and economic challenges and seek to promote their personal development, social skills, and vocational qualification.
