About the funder
The Berliner Leben Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law, established in 2013 by Gewobag AG. It supports art and culture, youth and elderly care, as well as sports in Berlin neighborhoods. Its goal is to strengthen neighborhood structures, promote social balance, and support the integration of diverse population groups. The projects focus on the three thematic areas of education, integration, and culture. Well-known programs and institutions of the foundation include the URBAN NATION Museum, the Fresh A.I.R. scholarship program, the Martha Cooper Library, and the Stadtraum!Plus program.
