About the funder
The Betti-Mederer Foundation was recognized in May 2007 by the Middle Franconia government authority. The purpose of the foundation is to promote the religious and charitable concerns of the Evangelical Alliance Nuremberg e.V., the German Evangelical Alliance e.V., as well as the non-profit congregations, organizations, institutions, and associations belonging to the Evangelical Alliance. The foundation fulfills its purpose primarily through grants from its income to the Evangelical Alliance Nuremberg, the forwarding of earmarked donations to affiliated congregations, organizations, and institutions, the promotion of the spread of the Gospel at home and abroad through all types of media (printed materials, radio, television, internet), and support of diaconal and charitable activities for selfless aid to those in need.

Mission & Vision
The Betti-Mederer-Stiftung preserves the legacy of Babetta “Betti” Mederer and puts it at the service of the Evangelical Alliance Nuremberg and the German Evangelical Alliance e.V. To keep Christian values alive in the Nuremberg metropolitan region, the foundation pools income and donations to support charitable projects, spread the Gospel, and provide diaconal assistance to people in need. Through active fundraising and donor acquisition, it aims to secure higher long-term funds for God’s work.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Betti-Mederer-Stiftung are aimed at the Evangelical Alliance Nuremberg e.V. and the German Evangelical Alliance e.V., at the non-profit congregations, ministries, institutions, and associations belonging to the Evangelical Alliance, as well as at diaconal-charitable initiatives and projects at home and abroad that selflessly support people in need and promote the spread of the Gospel.
