About the funder
The Bielefeld Red Cross Foundation is committed to promoting a wide range of social and humanitarian tasks and organizations of the German Red Cross in the Bielefeld area. It was established to financially support projects and services of the DRK District Association Bielefeld e.V. and its subsidiaries when primary funds are insufficient. Examples of funded measures include the equipment of daycare centers, residential groups, youth club excursions, or special purchases for dementia groups. Since its founding, approximately 80 projects with a total volume of over 37,000 euros have been realized.

Mission & Vision
The Bielefeld Red Cross Foundation has made it its mission to provide support where additional funds are needed to enable or qualitatively improve social and charitable services of the German Red Cross in Bielefeld. It promotes innovative, non-profit projects and contributes to sustainably improving the living conditions of disadvantaged people.
Target groups
Funding is provided to carriers, institutions, and projects of the DRK District Association Bielefeld as well as its subsidiaries that offer social, humanitarian, and charitable services in the region. The target group includes children in DRK day-care centers, youth in the Junior Red Cross, people in need of care or dementia patients in residential groups, as well as projects for the integration and social participation of disadvantaged individuals.
